Annual General Meeting 2024: It would be great

It would be great … if you sign up for the Annual General Meeting 19 April

Finansforbundet in Nordea invites all members to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) Friday 19 April 2024 at 18-21.30. After the formal AGM, we invite you to a musical experience. We expect the entertainment to end approx. at 22.45.

This year's AGM has the theme 'It would be great‘. How do you dream the perfect workplace and working day looks like? And how far are you from the ideal? Do you have other hopes and wishes that could improve the physical and mental working environment, everyday life and well-being?

All members are welcome to attend the AGM. As in previous years, the AGM will be held in Danish. The voting ballot (electronically) will be in both Danish and English. 

Three options

You decide for yourself how you would prefer to participate:

  1. Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers (overnight stay is sold out - you can still sign up for participating in the meeting hall)
  2. Locally with your colleagues at the workplace - streamed
  3. From home - streamed

When you sign up, you simultaneously will have to choose whether you participate at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers or virtually (with colleagues or from home – you can wait making the specific choice between those two). Please wait to register until you have to decided how you would like to participate – e.g. if something will be arranged locally.

Technical difficulties
Unfortunately, Finansforbundet has experienced technical problems on its event site which has led to some members having problems registering. At the same time, there is an error, so registered events on the member profile at finansforbundet.dk currently cannot be viewed or edited.

You can still register. If you experience technical difficulties, we ask you to write an email to Heidi Winther at heidi.winther@nordea.dk. In the mail text, please include your membership number and whether you wish to participate in the meeting hall at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers or virtually – you do not need to specify whether you are participating from home or locally with colleagues at the work place. You will be registered with and receive a confirmation email sent to the email address you have specified as preferred in the Finansforbundet's membership system.

If you want to edit your registration and cannot do so on your member profile, you are also welcome to write an email to Heidi.

The registration deadline is 4 April. We reserve the right to declare sold out before the deadline.

In 2024, we've doubled the number of participants, and at one point we had to close for sign up for live participation at the hotel. The first-come, first-served principle applies, so be quick if you want to secure a place.

Here is more info about the three options:

1. Participation at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers
If you choose to attend the AGM at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers in Ørestad near Field's, an easy-to-eat dinner will be served during the AGM. After the AGM, we invite you to a musical experience and social gatherings with colleagues.

Before the AGM, you will receive a link giving you access to vote.

Overnight stay is sold out - you can still sign up for participating in the meeting hall.

If you have allergies, are a vegetarian or vegan, please contact Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers directly at lsk@cpcopenhagentowers.com, write Diets Finansforbundet i Nordea in the subject field in the mail.

Accommodation and transport
You have the option of staying overnight between Friday and Saturday with breakfast on Saturday morning. The deadline to sign up with accommodation is 12 March. Please consider whether you want to stay overnight at the hotel before choosing. From 12 March, we will have to pay for the booked rooms (DKK 1,355 per room), and we would much rather spend the money on member activities than on empty hotel rooms. Accommodation is now sold out.

You must take care of transport yourself. Finansforbundet in Nordea will pay your expenses when you use the cheapest public transport. If you drive your own car, we encourage you to fill up the car with as many colleagues as possible. Possible joint public transport: Please contact your (senior) union representative, who may order a combined ticket.

If you wish to share a double room with another participating member, please contact Evy Grønvall from Finansforbundet at eg@finansforbundet.dk.

2. Participation at the workplace
You can also choose to participate at your workplace locally together with your colleagues, following the AGM and the musical experience on a pc or on a big screen.

We pay for food and drinks for up to DKK 275 per person.

Before the AGM, you will receive a link for the streaming and voting.

Local event planner
You will have to find an event planner to be responsible for the event locally - manage registrations and order food and drinks. If you yourself would like to be your local event planner, please contact your colleagues as soon as possible so they know the opportunity and you can coordinate. Also notify secretarial assistant Heidi Winther (Heidi.winther@nordea.dk / phone 55 46 80 44). We will contact you with further information.

By clicking here, you can see an email text, which you – as local event planner - can personalize and send to your colleagues (due to the GDPR we are unfortunately not allowed to inform you about which of your colleagues are members).

3. Participation from home
If you prefer to participate from home, that is also an option. You will receive a link so you can follow the AGM and the musical experience virtually and vote.

We pay for food and drinks for up to DKK 275 per participating member. We will inform you later on how you will be reimbursed for expenses.

Email address
Once you have signed up, you will receive a confirmation email, which will be sent to the email address you have specified as preferred in Finansforbundet's membership system. You can edit it by logging in here using MitID.

Remember to reserve time for the AGM incl. any transport in your calendar!

Refusion of expenses
We cover the expenses mentioned at the different possibilities for participation.

Please note that the travel reimbursement for 'ordinary' members is reported as B income (B-indkomst). If you have any questions regarding this, contact Lisbeth Møller Gladov at lisbeth.gladov@nordea.com / tel. 55 47 45 58.

After the AGM, you’ll have to fill out this document in Word and send the document with documentation (photos of receipts) as an email to lisbeth.gladov@nordea.com - preferably no later than 3 May 2024. Union representatives should use zExpense instead.

You can find the audited accounts, the final agenda and all proposals incl. candidates for the Board of Directors and deputies in Danish at www.finansforbundet.dk/FiN-gf2024 from no later than 21 March.
