The final votes came in 18th of June at noon, and the result is way beyond any doubt:

94.3 per cent voted yes to the new company agreement, which Finansforbundet i Nordea reached an agreement on with Nordea.

Thank you for every single vote
”I am very pleased with such a clear support from our members. We have reached a settlement on a good company agreement with the bank, leading to a new salary model, individual salary increase for many more colleagues than before and extra focus on wellbeing and skill development etc. We negotiated based on the mandate given from our members. But it is like preparing for an exam: At the end of the day, the final settlement comes at the green table. What really counts to us is that the members support the result in the end. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for casting your vote”, says Dorrit Brandt, president of Finansforbundet in Nordea.

The company agreement (VOK) in Nordea builds on the standard collective agreement (STOK), concluded between Finansforbundet (The Financial Services Union Denmark) and the Danish Employers' Association for the Financial Sector (FA) earlier this spring. In the STOK a pool for salary increases of 6.0% was agreed. The pool in Nordea’s company agreement is 6.6 % – meaning that we gained 0.6% more.

Foundation for a more modern and flexible work life
Likewise, Nordea’s management feel satisfied with the new agreement.

”The foundation, enabling us to step in to a more modern and flexible work life is what makes me most happy”, says Bjørn Bøje Jensen, Country Senior Executive and continues:

"Furthermore, we in Nordea are strengthened through the ability to favour much more employees with the new and more transparent salary model".

The new company agreement is valid for the period from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2023..
