Debate topics with great relevance

Kim Corfitsen, agricultural advisor, Zealand

What has impressed you in the debate?

There is a really good atmosphere here and a good debate. Previous, I've attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) from home, but this is something completely different.

It makes an impression how much effort our board makes for us. How much they take up with management and that they really are a mouthpiece for us. They listen and they do something. And I can see that, on the other hand, we need to speak up so that they can raise the right issues.
Especially the debate about working from home and salary had great relevance in relation to my workplace. And regarding changing jobs from Nordea and coming back to higher pay; I have experienced that myself.

Have you participated in FiN's AGM before?

It's my first AGM physically. There is a different kind of unity and coherence in the branches. But I would like to meet colleagues more across Nordea. I have already met several former colleagues who now work in Jutland.

We are seven colleagues who have driven together from Nykøbing Falster.

Broad debate with great inquisitiveness

What has impressed you in the debate?

It was a very broad debate and with a great deal of inquisitiveness. The time was completely filled. This is not always the case. Some years it is more narrow what is being discussed, but this year there were many different topics. I liked that.

The salary issue is interesting. Especially how to work to ensure that the faithful employees are also rewarded.

The debate on hybrid work was exciting as well. I myself work primarily physically. I like that best. But working from home has its advantages. It gives freedom just to be able to go to the doctor or something else, and there are some types of work that are good to do at home, where you can immerse yourself a little more. But I like to show up and be with my colleagues.

Have you participated in FiN's AGM before?

Having once been a union representative, I still have an interest in hearing what is happening in Finansforbundet in Nordea and seeing the faces of those we elect to the board. It's another thing to be able to hear them talk about how they work. So I show up almost every time, if possible. And then it's nice to meet colleagues.
