Fixed salary and independent work planning
In most of Finansforbundet’s collective agreements, we have made sure that you cannot be employed on a fixed salary basis before your monthly salary reaches DKK 54,050 in 2023 (DKK 56,050 from 2024), and you are entitled to independent work planning at the same time.
What does the fixed salary limit and independent work planning mean?
The fixed salary limit is one of the highest on the Danish labour market, and the right to independent work planning means that you must enjoy great freedom to plan your working hours with due consideration being made to the job tasks.
What happens if I switch to fixed salary?
If you start working on a fixed salary basis, you will usually also be entitled to a fixed monthly supplement to compensate for historic overtime/additional work and hardship allowances to ensure that the transition to fixed salary is economically neutral.
