Online personality test and logic test

As a member of Finansforbundet, you have access to taking an online personality test and a logic test.

When you apply for a job, you may be tested as part of the recruitment process. Many companies use tests to gain an insight into a candidate's personality, logical reasoning skills and working style. Therefore, you may benefit from preparing for such testing.

As a member of Finansforbundet, you may try two of the most commonly used recruitment tests: A personality test and a logic test. 

The tests will never be the sole factor in a recruitment process. They will always be supplemented by a personal meeting at which you discuss the results of the tests. It should be emphasised that there are no right or wrong answers. The goal is to gain a better understanding of how you work and what kind of role would suit you best.  

How does it work?  

  • Log in to My union 
  • On the 'My Union' front page, scroll down and click on the link 'Online personality test and logic test'
  • You will then receive a link to the tests by email. 
  • Take the tests online whenever it suits you. 
  • The results are sent to you automatically.  
The idea is for you to practice taking tests and use the report to learn more about yourself. You will not receive personal feedback on the tests you have taken, but if you have any questions about the report, please do not hesitate to contact us.
What is a personality test?

A personality test helps you understand your behavioural patterns, working style and motivation.  Many companies use this test as part of the recruitment process to assess how your personality matches the profile that the company is looking for. 

By taking the test in advance, you will gain a better understanding of your strengths and areas for growth, which means you are better prepared to discuss them at the job interview. 

The test offered is called Measuring and Assessing Individual Potential (MAP). It takes about 20 minutes.

The logic test measures your ability to identify patterns, analyse information and make decisions. Skills that are important in many job functions.

The test is time-limited, requiring just 12 minutes to complete. Companies use the test to predict how you will handle complex tasks and adapt to new situations.

By practicing with the test, you can improve your performance and gain an advantage in the actual recruitment process.

The tests have been developed by Assessio and are widely used, also outside the financial sector, to assess how a candidate matches a job. Even if you are faced with another test during your recruitment process, you will benefit considerably from practicing. That is because most tests are based on the same theoretical foundation.
