Free dental and health insurance

If you have a student job in a financial company that is covered by the Standard Collective Agreement, you have free dental and health insurance. It can give you a subsidy for your dental bill or bill for treatment by a physiotherapist and access to fast treatment.

If you are employed in a student job in a financial company and are covered by the Standard Collective Agreement, you are entitled to both free dental insurance and health insurance just as if you were a full-time employee. It can give you a subsidy of up to 100% of your dental bill or bill from a physiotherapist/chiropractor as well as access to fast treatment.

Both dental insurance and health insurance are benefits that Finansforbundet has secured for you during the collective bargaining negotiations with the employers in the financial sector.

Financial subsidy for dental bills

If you are employed in a student job in a company that is covered by the Standard Collective Agreement, you are covered by the company’s dental insurance. The insurance may vary from company to company, but must as a minimum contain the following conditions:

  • An annual deductible of a maximum of DKK 995.
  • Coverage of expenses of up to DKK 30,000 per year.
  • The insurance can cover, e.g. fillings, X-rays, root canals, periodontitis and surgery.

Fast treatment with the health insurance

If you are employed in a company that is covered by the Standard Collective Agreement, you are also covered by the company’s the health insurance. The health insurance gives you the opportunity to get your expenses covered for treatment at a psychologist, chiropractor, physiotherapist or at a private hospital.

The health insurance will also ensure that you can quickly access treatment if you have been ill or are injured.
