Finansforbundet has been responsible for the financial sector having one of the best collective agreements in Denmark – and with the collective agreement, we create a good framework for your work and family life. Our collective agreements guarantee you a large number of key rights, such as the right to:

As a member, you help ensure that the collective agreements in the financial sector remain amongst the best in Denmark, and you help us continue to stand strong when we have to protect you and your colleagues’ interests in relation to the employers. In other words, you have the opportunity to influence how your working life should look.

What you want for your working life will be brought to the negotiating table via Finansforbundet’s political system and the approximately 1,200 union representatives out in the financial companies. Your union representative also ensures that you always have close contact with Finansforbundet and access to local sparring and assistance if you need it.

This applies when we work for your job satisfaction and positive working environment at your workplace but also when you need professional development over the course of your working life so you can strengthen and maintain your market value. We support you with the latest knowledge in the financial sector via trainings, courses and digital knowledge and career tools – and you can supplement this with career interviews and networking within the topics that are most relevant to you.

In the event that you should lose your job, you can use us as a safety net. In the majority of our collective agreements, you are guaranteed very good terms upon termination in the form of extra severance pay and the right to outplacement. Along with Finansforbundet’s unemployment insurance fund – part of FTFa – we can already start helping you during the notice period so that you can get a handle on the practicalities and more easily move on to your next job.

Because we know the sector and your rights, we can help you by clarifying legal matters in connection with a dismissal, and we offer individual interviews with a career advisor who can help you look to the future, clarify your skills and support you with advice and guidance on job hunting and optimising your CV.
